What’s on in 2025
Dates for 2025 events will appear on the website as the year progresses…watch this space! SMBC have close ties with the Luton Model Boat Club, and similarly the Welwyn Club. At the St Albans Model Engineering show each September, we help to organise the Model Boat section, where as well as the displays, there is a ‘pop-up’ boat pond to see some of the models in action. It’s a good place to find boats and bits for sale. SMBC usually have a stand at the Stotfold Steam Fayre, Letchworth, Biggleswade and Hoddesdon. Events may be subject to amendment or cancellation, depending on weather, pandemics, Govt guidelines etc…

Club 500 Race Dates
Racing starts at 11.am. There are 2 heats. If more than 6 competitors compete, we will have 2 groups, each with 2 heats. Results of each round are on the website within a few days.
