SMBC run a few events through the year including the regular Club 500 races at the lake. We also help with / attend other club events.

Dates for 2020  will appear on the website as the year progresses...watch this space!

SMBC  have close ties with the Luton Model Boat Club, and similarly the Welwyn Club.

At the St Albans Model Engineering show each September, we help to organise the Model Boat section, where as well as the displays, there is a 'pop-up' boat pond to see some of the models in action. It's a good place to find boats and bits for sale.

SMBC usually have a stand at the International Model Boat Show held at the Warwick Exhibition Centre during November, and recently have exhibited at Stotfold, Letchworth, Biggleswade & Hoddesdon.

2nd May,  (Saturday),  Stevenage walking festival in Fairlands valley. SBC wish to show the park in all its glory so we have been asked to be there, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Another sailing day. More details to follow.

Stotfold Steam Fair and Country Show.  SMBC are planning a stall there. Dates TBA
